Scope and Content Note: Administrative files, 1997-2004, created and received by the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Commerce. Contents include records relating to the Petroleum Environmental Cleanup Fund Act (PECFA) Council consisting of correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes; semi-annual reports and fiscal legislative decisions. Also included are general administrative materials belonging to the Office of the Secretary such as Department of Commerce general and divisional organizational charts, activities and reports, and performance measurement workshop slides. Additional files contain correspondence, reports, and research material for increasing venture capital in the state. These records particularly focus on Colorado's Certified Capital Companies (CAPCO) program as a vehicle for achieving this goal.
