Physical Description: 5 c.f. (5 record center cartons) 1 oversize folder, 47 tape recordings, 2 CD recordings, 111 videotapes, and photographs
Scope and Content Note

The Original Collection includes minutes of commission meetings, memoranda, correspondence, brochures, posters, non-funded grant applications, essays submitted by high school students for a scholarship contest, applications for the “Searching for Wisconsin’s Past-150 Intriguing Investigations” contest, and applications to use the Sesquicentennial seal.

The photographs primarily document Governor Tommy Thompson and commission co-chairs Patrick J. Lucey and Lee Sherman Dreyfus at events honoring corporate sponsors. Some sound recordings are from grant panel meetings; other recordings and most of the videos were submitted with grant applications. The general administrative files include subject files maintained by various members of the staff.
