Additional photographs, including some from the same time period documented here, are retained by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. It is not known when or why these particular images were transferred to the Historical Society but it is suspected that their accession may have been associated with the receipt of related photographs from the Conservation Department in Lots 3451-3454 that were received between 1930 and 1950.
