Part 20 (2006/007): Additions, 1980-1995
Physical Description: 0.6 cubic feet (2 archives boxes)
Scope and Content Note: Alphabetical files for cases that primarily arose from section 100.22 that concern 1) hauling charges and practices and 2) premium testing and justification, 1980-1988, 1995. Best documented are cases concerning Beatrice Cheese, Land O'Lakes, and Mid-America Dairymen Inc. The last-named case file includes transcribed testimony by several milk haulers and employees. Statistical runs have been weeded from the file on Land O'Lakes except for those which identify individual producers. There is also information on the National Farmers Organization's effort to forward contract milk that identifies individual farmers.
Access Restrictions: Because some producer payrolls include confidential information, this accession should be considered restricted.
