Wisconsin. Employee Welfare Funds Division: Employee Welfare Funds, 1959-1974

Biography/History

The Employee Welfare Funds Division was created by Chapter 552, Laws 1957 or the Employee Welfare Fund Disclosure Act, and was disbanded in 1975. The division was created in order to assure that funds created to provide benefits to employees in case of sickness, disability or unemployment were available. The division was directed by the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.
