Wisconsin. Division of Corrections: Case Files of Adults on Probation (Central Office Files), 1955-1967, 1978

Arrangement of the Materials

Numerical by “T-number,” a number assigned when an inmate was discharged from supervision of Corrections. This series is a sample from the central office's files for cases between T51,281 and T118,140, and between 196,957 and 215,516. Every twentieth adult probation case, beginning with a randomly selected number, was retained. Case files for adults on probation between 1967 and 1977 may be found in their entirety on the microfiche portion of Series 2088. The archives does not have case files for adults on probation after 1978, as they were maintained at the county level only.

The contents list is a list of “T-numbers” for every case file retained in this series; “T-numbers” typically appear with the prefix “T” or “TX.”
