Abstract:

Records of Wisconsin births prior to 1907 which were reported between 1937 and 1942. Present are affidavits, 1940-1942, filed by doctors or others attesting to each birth, and registers, 1937-1940, in which information from affidavits is recorded. For 1940, the only year present in both affidavits and registers, some names appear in both groups, but most names are represented in the affidavits only.

Available only on microfilm. All reels are positive. Each Area Research Center has a duplicate copy for counties in its region. Master negatives are held by the Genealogical Society of Utah.
