Applications of the Chippewa Valley Colonization Company and the Wisconsin Colonization Company to sell mortgages on improved agricultural land to land mortgage associations for loans; including appraisers' reports and photographs of the land and dwellings on it. Though considered State Archives Series 1957, these records are labelled with the call number PH 4487.
