The Thomas Bardon Papers include personal correspondence, 1907-1921, mayoral nomination papers, 1898, and business papers. Among the business papers are correspondence and agreements concerned with Bardon lands, 1883-1922; Indian lands, 1900-1915; loans, 1904-1915; and mineral lands, 1911-1922. With the Bardon land papers are three maps, kept in the collection because they indicate the Thomas Bardon land holdings in Michigan, Minnesota, and Northern Wisconsin.
The collection's two largest groups of business papers are the Denn Mine and Shattuck Mine papers. The Denn Mine papers consist of business correspondence, 1905-1920; agreements, 1905-1920; and stockholders lists, 1916-1919. The Shattuck Mine papers include business correspondence, 1904-1919, and agreements, 1904-1920. There is also one folder of Denn-Shattuck Mining contracts, 1912-1919.
