Abstract:

Records, 1969-2000 (bulk 1975-1981), of Rural Resources, a nonprofit organization founded in 1975 that focused on rural advocacy, education, and community organizing in the Tri-State region of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. The records document the organization's activities, including conferences it held or participated in, tailgate markets, educational programs, and involvement with other organizations with similar farm, food, and land priorities, as well as support from faith-based organizations. Rural Resources also played an instrumental role in the creation of the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA).
