These have been arranged alphabetically, each subject being broken down into correspondence, production material, scripts, clippings, etc. Files are identified by the names of productions, individuals, or general subjects and contain correspondence, clippings, scripts, minutes, notes, speeches, writings, financial materials, legal documents, and/or promotional records tracing Susskind's business and personal affairs. Most of the files are directly related to Mr. Susskind's productions. A small amount of personal correspondence, 1952-1963, is found under "Susskind, David" in alphabetical order among the subject headings.
