The Dan Bessie collection had been previously arranged by the accession order. In 2017 the collection was rearranged into 6 series: BIOGRAPHICAL, FILMS, TELEVISION, ADVERTISMENTS, BOOKS, and THEATER. Within each series the previous arrangement principles have been maintained. This means that the majority of the collection is arranged alphabetically. Films, photographs, and audio have been integrated with the paper documents in the finding aid. See the Scope and Content Note for details on the series.
