Papers of Loni Kemp, an analyst and consultant on agriculture and environmental policy specializing in water quality, the Conservation Stewardship Program (“green payments”), and renewable energy. Kemp served as a senior policy analyst with the Minnesota Project from 1979-2008, and currently serves as an independent analyst through Kemp Consulting, a firm she founded in 2008. The papers document her activities as a policy analyst, speaker, writer, and advocate of natural resources protection and sustainable agriculture, as well as her involvement with other organizations, including the Minnesota Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (MISA), the Midwest Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (MSAWG), the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (SAC), and the National Campaign for Sustainable Agriculture (NCSA). Kemp was also a 2002-2004 Food and Society Policy Fellow.
