Abstract:

Photocopied papers of Nicholas Fischer, a former University of Wisconsin student who worked as an organizer for the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party in Sharkey County, Mississippi, in 1965. Included is personal correspondence, party papers, flyers, and leaflets. Earlier correspondence concerns fund-raising efforts that Fischer conducted among University of Wisconsin students to support Mississippi civil rights workers.
