George Tselos Papers, 1961-1971

Scope and Content Note

The anti-war papers deal not only with the Vietnam War protests of the 1960's and early 1970's, but also with general anti-war and peace movements of the early 1960's, when there was a threat of a war between the United States and Cuba or the Soviet Union. In addition to civil rights material on Mississippi, there are papers concerning the 1961 and 1962 racial disturbances in Monroe, North Carolina.
