The FPA National Services program office oversaw programs, conferences, and program resources; conducted outreach to national organizations; promoted books and pamphlets; and provided information and reference on foreign policy. This office was at time connected to the activities of the World Affairs Center (opened circa 1954-55) which was associated with the United Nations Visitors Program and headed by Richard Winslow, director of the center, circa 1958. The WAC was transferred to the UNA-USA in 1969.
