Abstract:

Records of the Milwaukee YWCA, sponsor of recreational and self-improvement activities for local working women. Included is a small amount of correspondence (1914-1943), mostly relating to the construction of a new activities building; miscellaneous financial records (1928-1936); flyers and announcements (1953-1958); pamphlets; publications; and scrapbooks. On microfilm are the minutes of the Board of Managers (1892-1898); annual meetings (1895-1903); Board of Trustees (1899-1908, 1921-1924, 1938-1950); and Board of Directors (1898-1950).
