Records of First Methodist date to 1844 and include sacramental records (1892-1933), minutes of the board, financial records, committee files, records of the Milwaukee Missionary Society, information on various remodeling efforts, and miscellaneous historical materials. Notable are extensive files of church bulletins, 1900-1973, and mimeographed sermons of Ensworth Reisner, 1943-1973. For Wesley Methodist there are sacramental records (1883-1922), collected historical materials, and some ministerial subject files from the 1960s.
