The collection records the founding and development of the Arctic Springs Creamery from 1889 until 1924 when it was reorganized as a legal cooperative. It also contains records pertaining to the Arctic Springs Creamery Cooperative's merger with Hiawatha Dairies Cooperative in 1967.
Minutes of the Arctic Springs Creamery comprise the largest part of the collection. These include minutes of annual stockholders meetings and quarterly Board of Directors meetings. Miscellaneous annual reports, correspondence and a resolution (1919-1924) are filed separately, followed by documents concerning the merger.
