The records of the Southern Courier are organized in two groups. The first group is compiled from office subject files concerned with publishing and administering the newspaper (segments 1-39). The second group is compiled from general resource and subject files containing background information on southern states, civil rights organizations, projects, and individuals (segments 40-90). All material is arranged chronologically within each segment except when noted as alphabetized.
