First Congregational Church (Genoa City, Wis.) Records, 1846-1981

Scope and Content Note

This collection was microfilmed at two different times. Materials received in the Archives in 1971 and 1972 were filmed on one reel and assigned call number Micro 467. These materials date 1846-1971 and include a constitution, meeting minutes, lists of pastors, officers, members, marriages, and baptisms, and brief financial records. Additional church records were received and microfilmed in 1982 on one more reel which was assigned call number Micro 936. These additions consist of a record book of minutes and sacramental records, 1960-1975; mimeographed annual reports, 1967-1981; and miscellany. The record book is the same volume as that designated “Volume 5” on the original microfilm, with additional later entries. The Miscellany includes a printed directory which includes family photographs, the constitution, and brief notes on historical highlights, 1967; a 125th anniversary program, 1971; and constitutions and bylaws from 1974 and 1977.
