This collection is kept at the Villa Louis, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, in accordance with the wish of the donor, the late Mrs. Virginia Dousman Bigelow, Beverly Hills, California. The papers were sent to the Historical Society after the death of Mrs. Bigelow by her daughter, Ilya Zorn. The collection was microfilmed in Madison in March 1961.
