On September 17, 1930, Senator Robert M. La Follette, Jr., married Rachel Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwick Craven Young of Frederick County, Maryland. Following this marriage, the Youngs moved to Washington, D.C. to make their home.
