Scope and Content Note

The collection is organized into four parts: Administration, Activities, Reference, and Newsletters. Administrative records include the constitution, bylaws, statements of goals and objectives, correspondence, meeting minutes, grant proposals, awards, time lines, meeting announcements, convention arrangement files, reports, academic papers, organization histories, membership lists, financial records, and clippings. The Activities files contain records on the annual quilt raffles, potlucks, film series, retreats, workshops, skits, videotaped mock job interviews, book discussion groups, and action councils. Photographs in the collection relate mainly to this series. The Reference files include information pertaining to other organizations and events and contain flyers, pamphlets, reports, workshop information and reactions, and information about other libraries, women’s groups, conferences, women’s studies programs, and other local organizations.
