From VA facilities in Albuquerque, the Bronx, and elsewhere across the country Klein collected interviews with hospital officials, staff, and patients, as well as medical records, correspondence, internal investigations, and audits. There are also interviews with representatives of various veterans organizations and with leaders such as Ron Bitzer and Ron Kovic.
