Scope and Content Note

Included are source documents, clippings, notes on interviews, draft materials, and correspondence with proponents and opponents of fluoridation including Frederick McKay and Robert Rome, as well as the American Dental Association (ADA), the National Committee Against Fluoridation, and the U.S. Public Health Service. Also included is information pertaining to research on the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade and other right-wing movements and organizations in Arizona that he carried out later in his career, drafts of a report on adult education in California, memoranda received as an SHSW administrator from Clifford L. Lord, and a transcript of an oral history interview. The two tape recordings are paper tapes and they are thought to be recordings of family events, 1950-1952.
