Abstract:

Papers, 1969-2005, of playwright and director Joel Gersmann, documenting his professional life. The bulk of the collection consists of materials relating to plays written and/or directed by Gersmann, as well as other productions by the Broom Street Theater of Madison, Wisconsin. Also included are Broom Street Theater administrative records, press materials and reviews, play programs, and Gersmann's working notes for articles and plays.
