In addition to the day books, other records include account books (1922-1966) which list yearly profits and expenses; an indexed list of customers’ accounts (1913-1922) detailing the date of each purchase, the amount, and the method of payment; inventories (1927-1983); and several volumes (1912-1957) listing transactions with suppliers. Also included are miscellaneous records such as a listing of items sold during 1948, places in Wisconsin where Williams Hardware shipped orders, and a personal account book for one of the business’s owners. Additionally, there are personal photographs of the Williams family, dating from the early 1900s, divided into group photos and individual portraits of family members, and photographs of Cambria and Glidden.
