Scope and Content Note: Shows name of town and amount and value of apples, wheat, barley, rye, oats, buckwheat, corn, beans and peas, clover seed, timothy, flax seed, hemp, hay, potatoes, butter, cheese, sorghum, maple, honey, and grapes produced.

Scope and Content Note: Shows same as 1861 with the addition of wine, cattle, hogs, horses, sheep, wool, woolens, and leather.

Dairy Statistics
Scope and Content Note

Included in this category are three different forms. Statements of Dairy Statistics from 19 local units, showing number, value, number of patrons contributory, number of cows contributory, pounds of milk received during the year, pounds of butter, cheese, or condensed milk produced, and amount received for dairy products for creameries, chesse factories, and milk condensing plants. Also has blanks for amount and value of butter, cheese, and condensed milk produced on farms.

Assessors Certified Lists of Creameries, Cheese Factories and Milk Condensing Factories and Owners and Operators (“Lists of Dairy Plants”) show name and location of creameries, chesse factories, and milk condensing factories and the name and address of owners or managers or operators.

Owner-Manager Statements show the name and address of the owner or manager and the operator of dairy plants.
