This series consists of three parts. Part I consists of wills and probate estate case files, 1873-1918. This portion is available on microfilm only (reels 1-63). Part II consists of insanity and commitment cases, adoptions, and guardianships of minors and incompetent persons for the same time period, 1873-1918 (boxes 1-15). These cases are restricted and available in paper format only. Part III consists of estate files, wills, and guardianships of minors, 1919-1925 (boxes 16-38). Insanity commitment cases, guardianship of incompetent persons cases, and adoptions were removed from Part III by the court before transferring the records to the archives.
