Summary: The protagonist, Alexei Timofeyev is a champion soccer coach. He coaches Leningrad's favorite team, the Zarays. Tension mounts as the team gets closer and close to playing in the championship Northern Seas Cup game against a French team, the Reefs. The Reefs' coach, Berger, is a ruthless man who will win at all costs.
