Materials from major speeches given by Governor Lee Sherman Dreyfus from 1979 to 1982. Collection includes speech notes, drafts, talking points, original and copied final transcripts, brochures and programs for events where speeches were given, newspaper clippings, legislative briefs, and regular reports such as budget addresses, revenue messages, tax reviews, and veto messages. Files are arranged by speech topic or individual speech name. Several files include multiple miscellaneous speeches on a given subject.
