The collection is arranged into three series: Series I, Manuscript Papers; Series II, Sound
Recordings, and Series III, Photographs.
Series I, Manuscript Papers, is further organized into sub-series: Administrative Records
includes meeting minutes, release forms, communications with musicians, publicity material,
brochures, records detailing contacts with musicians and interviewees, documents from the
Wisconsin Arts Board, and papers and correspondence related to the release of Down Home
Dairyland: a listener's guide; Correspondence contains letters to and from the co-producers,
and a folder of collected contact information; Subject Files include clippings, newsletters,
brochures and promotional materials; Radio Programs contains research materials, program
planning documents, source tape indices, scripts, notes and play lists pertaining to
individual programs.
Series II, Sound Recordings, includes master tapes of the radio show, and originial
recordings of interviews and musical performances used as source material for the
programs.
Series III, Photographs and slides, contains images of musical performers and
interviewees.
