Abstract:

The records of the Academy of Certified Archivists document the activities of ACA officers, regents, the editorship of the ACA newsletter, and committees and task forces. Established in 1989, the ACA's primary mission is the certification of professional archivists with the purpose of defining and advancing archival goals and standards, along with providing a benchmark employers can use when judging the qualifications of potential staff members.
