There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to
all members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection
(Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).
Lesbian Alliance of Metro Milwaukee donated the collection to the Archives in
October 2008 (accession 2008-029) and July 2009 (accession 2009-002). Some
additional materials donated by Jamakaya in June 2006 (accession 2005-061) were
also added to the collection. Cheryl Kader donated some additional materials in
February 2014 (accession 2013-039).
Sarah Phillips (supervised by Christel Maass) processed the collection in March
and April 2010. Hayley Jackson processed accession 2013-039 in April 2014.
In December 2011, Matt Eidem removed 21 safety film negatives and placed them
with other safety film negatives.
