The collection consists of correspondence, production materials, and project files created
and compiled by Caren Heft during her work as a book artist and letterpress printer.
Production materials include scripts, page proofs, copy books, transparencies, polymer
plates, and experimental books. Project files contain photographs and 35 mm slides of
completed projects, research materials, project summaries, project proposals, brochures and
articles related to exhibitions, and a small amount of correspondence between Heft and her
clients. The collection also includes résumé materials as well as both
personal and professional correspondence.
