Ben-Shalom organized the majority of the collection chronologically under the general
heading of "Homosexuality." These chronological files contain material on a variety of
topics and consist of news clippings, brochures, flyers, organizational newsletters, and
correspondence. Archivists arranged loose material into subject-specific folders (e.g.,
"Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Veterans of America" and "Milwaukee Lesbian Gay Pride
Committee"). Researchers are encouraged to explore both subject-specific folders and the
general files.
