The collection consists of six videocassettes, produced in 1989 and 1990, and an
accompanying guide which lists the contents of each tape. The guide also contains brief
written summaries of interviews with several residents who are not interviewed on tape.
The Fox Point Events tapes (videocassettes 1 and 2) contain footage of a Fourth of July
parade, a practice fire department burn, a carnival at St. Eugene's Church, ice skaters, and
Memorial Day celebrations.
The Fox Point Graphics tape (videocassette 3) consists of video recordings of still
photographs. Included are images of buildings, including homes, schools, and houses of
worship; trolleys; students and clergy; and residents.
The Fox Point Homes tape (videocassette 4) consists of recordings of various homes in Fox
Point. Each home is shown from multiple vantage points.
The Fox Point Interviews tape (videocassette 5) consists of interviews with Del Lindbloom
(Fox Point/Bayside School District); Nancy Konrad and Helen Gamble (daughters of Peter
Stormonth, teacher and school superintent); Charlotte Teweles and Janet Krauskopf
(describing Fox Point in the 1930s and 1940s); F.R. Dengel (former Fox Point Village
President); and Edna Sievers (long-time Fox Point resident).
The Fox Point Locations tape (videocassette 6) consists of scenic footage, as well as
footage of village hall, schools, places of worship, village services, parks, and
businesses.
