: Series holds materials that document various inter-church groups. Included are papers
of the Channing Club (a group of young adults, aged 21-41, who meet to discuss current
events), Layman's League, and Circle Supper Club. The by-laws and meeting minutes
(1949-1983) of the Emerson Guild (a group of young women who greet new church members
and aid the Religious Education program) are in this series as well. The majority of the
series consists of materials relating to the Women's Alliance, including annual reports
(1962-1971), by-laws, two histories of the organization (1898 and 1967), meeting minutes
(1897-1971), and newsletters (1948-1967).
