The Society of American Archivists (SAA) is the oldest and
largest national professional association of archivists in North America. The collection
contains materials from the organization of the SAA in 1936 to present day. The main record
groups document the activities of the SAA officers; councilors; executive directors; the
editorship of The American Archivist; and SAA committees,
roundtables, sections, and task forces.
