Access Restrictions

The following cassettes include interviews that are restricted: 16, 27, 43, 47, 57, 66, 69, 120, 124, 127, 137-138, 147, and 149. Some of these cassettes also include interviews that are unrestricted. Ask a staff member if you wish to listen to an unrestricted interview that occurs on a cassette which also includes a restricted interview. With sufficient advance notice, we will create a use copy. The transcripts corresponding to these interviews are also restricted. They are located in the following boxes: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9.

There are no other access restrictions on the papers, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law.

Use Restrictions

The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).

Acquisition Information

Jonathan Coleman donated the collection to the Archives in July 1999 (accession 1999-045).

Processing Information

Michael Jan, Jennifer Sullivan, Kathy Koch, and Leslie Heinrichs processed the collection in the Archives from October 1999 to December 2000.
