Acquisition Information

An anonymous donor presented the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL) with 23 boxes of Kuryer material in 1962. According to the Internal Revenue Service inventory of the Kuryer Publishing Company, the IRS auctioned 57 boxes of material to an undisclosed purchaser. Consequently, this collection is but a segment of the total material. The call number for the collection while at the MPL was Manuscript Collection 27. The MPL physically transferred the collection to the Golda Meir Library for processing on 1 September 1990. The MPL transferred ownership of the collection to the Golda Meir Library on 13 August 1993.

Processing Information

A grant from the Polish National Congress permitted Robert Mink to process the collection at the UWM Libraries between September 1990 and August 1991.
