There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all
members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin
Statutes 19.21-19.39).
Ann Ashton, sole heir to the Rainovic estate, donated the collection to the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee on 25 June 1992 (accession number 93-025).
The processing of the collection took place in various stages. Ken Wirth completed the
initial processing in 1993. Leo Segura and Nick Weber completed the processing and
computer data input in October-December 1995. Mark A. Vargas designed the database used
with the collection.
In October 2011, Matt Eidem removed 41 safety film negatives and placed them with other
safety film negatives.
