This collection contains recordings acquired by the Electa Quinney Institute over the
years. Most recordings were originally on audiocassette and CD and contain language lessons,
stories, and cultural conversations and are in English, Ojibwe/Anishinaabemowin, Menominee,
and Potawatomi. There are also born-digital recordings from the Indian Community School, as
part of an agreement between EQI and ICS, which will come directly into the archives on a
regular basis and be added to the finding aid as acquired.
