Collection consists of audio/visual materials concerning the
teaching of Native American languages including Ojibwe and Anishinaabemowin. Curated
primarily by the Electa Quinney Institute for American Indian Education affiliated with the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Included in the collection are lessons regarding
vocabulary and grammar, as well as nursery rhymes, songs for children, recorded
conversations between experts and native speakers, and an Anishinaabemowin talk show.
Additionally, there are records from Native American language conferences on the student
activities offered. English, Ojibwe, Anishinaabemowin, Menominee, Potawatomi
