Abstract:

This collection contains records from the Graduate School's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. This office assists the University community with identifying potential funding sources and submitting grant proposals to federal and state agencies, foundations, other non-profit and corporate sponsors. A majority of the records in this collection contain miscellaneous documents created or collected by various Graduate School research centers between 1972 and 1995, including the Center for 20th Century Studies, the Center for Women's Studies, the Extramural Support Information Center (ESIC) and more. Additional records from the early 1990s document the university's participation in the JASON Project, a national interdisciplinary science program for students in grades 4-9.
