There are no other access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to
all members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin
Statutes 19.21-19.39).
Professor Ruane Hill transferred 10 cubic feet on May 26, 1976. Another unknown donor
transferred 1 cubic feet on August 15, 1976 and 5 cubic feet of WUWM logs on November 17,
1976. William Moritz transferred the audio tapes on October 1, 1980. The East Side Issues tapes were added in November 1995. Doug
Freshner donated materials in 2006 (Accession 2006-024) and 2008 (Accession 2007-038).
University Relations transferred CDs and audio cassettes of Milwaukee Ideas and UWM Today in August 2009
(Accession 2009-007) and August 2012 (Accession 2012-012). The Office of the Chancellor
transferred CDs and audio cassettes of University
Roundtable and Chancellor's Report in September
2012 (Accession 2012-023) and electronic files of programs in July 2014 (Accession
2014-004).
Timothy Spindler processed the original collection between March and May 1992 at the
University Archives. Mark A. Vargas processed series six in November 1995. Brad Houston
processed accessions 2009-007, 2012-012, 2012-023, and 2014-004 during Summer 2016.
Christel Maass added a few additional items to the collection in November 2017.
