Geopress, a publishing company specializing in maps
and geographic data, was founded by Rado Sandor in 1939 while he was living in
Geneva, Switzerland. Sandor, born in Hungary in 1899, was a cartographer and a
Soviet military intelligence agent during World War II. Geopress focused on news collection and dissemination.
