This single photograph album contains 42 black and white 8” x 10” photographs. These
photos depict the festivities of the 1951 VJ Day Celebration at the Blatz Music
Temple in Milwaukee’s Washington Park. The photos depict mainly the entertainment
portion of the celebration, though photos of the crowd and the opening and closing
ceremonies are present as well. Also included in the album are five newspaper
clippings about the show. The clippings are from the Milwaukee Journal and the Milwaukee
Sentinel.
