This collection contains more than 2500 acting editions of various scripts and scores
to German-language plays, comedies, tragedies, and operettas. Some are published
copies while others are handwritten. Many of the plays have more than one copy while
others contain several books, each for a different part. Most of the collection
dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s, but there are early and later materials as
well.
